Taking the exact same experiment, both trials, and replicating them with toddlers from a low socioeconomic status and comparing them to a group of toddlers from a high socioeconomic status could determine whether the development of higher function learning or cognitive abilities are in fact innate (therefore due to nature) or whether being exposed to certain things, whether its a physical environment or academic one (nurture)) could alter the results or have any influence at all. Although it is difficult to guess what the results could be, it would be fascinating to find out if there could be any influence or difference at all.

It is one that essentially marks the rest of someones development and it is important for the correct milestones to be reached at this time. This experiment not only demonstrated how much a toddler is capable of, but how these capabilities come at such an early and young age. Things that were believed to develop later on in toddlerhood (Bauer et al. 1999) actually has the potential of developing in earlier months.
